Let your horse benefit from acupressure, an age-old treatment for relaxation, recovery, and pain relief. Acupressure is similar to acupuncture, but instead of needles, it uses pressure to stimulate the acupuncture points and meridians. You can almost see the effect of the acupressure, as your horse will seemingly relax under the pressure.
Rose acupuncture. It increases blood flow, relaxes muscles, and releases beneficial endorphins.
The "Accuhorsemat Original" model is made of nylon with a shiny finish. It is perfect for colder days or winter. The front closure makes it
possible to adjust to fit all horses.
The acupressure blanket has three Velcro fasteners for the acupressure mats:
1. The shoulder area
The acupressure mats on the shoulders stimulate many of the horse's meridians, including those in the forehand muscles. The mats can be adjusted to fit your specific horse.
2. The rear part
The back is one of the horse's most exposed muscle groups. Placing the acupressure mats on the back stimulates the muscles and surrounding fascia, helping the horse relax and recover. You can use the acupressure mats for both the shoulder and the back.
(If you want acupressure mats for the shoulder and for the back at the same time, you can purchase more acupressure mats with art. no. 850 03).
3. The lumbar and groin area
The horse's main meridians are influenced by the acupressure points in the lumbar and groin areas. The largest of the three acupressure mats is located here, containing the majority of the 11,000 acupressure points in total.
