The lightweight Lavello stirrup is made of aluminum, reinforced with L-shaped steel and powder-coated. This makes the stirrup very strong and durable.
The hinged safety mechanism is made of plastic and flexes to allow the foot to exit the stirrup. The rider's weight causes the stirrup to open in the event of a fall, preventing the foot from getting caught in the stirrup. As soon as the foot leaves the stirrup, the stirrup closes automatically. The footbed features an anti-slip pattern to prevent dirt from sticking to the stirrup. The stirrup sole is slightly angled to keep the heel down. The beveled stirrup leather suspension ensures a good stirrup position, keeping the foot in the correct position. This gives the rider greater stability and improves leg position.
