Double-jointed snaffle bit with Comfort-lock system. The mouthpiece resembles a double-jointed bit, but it cannot be folded like a regular bit. When counter-pressure is applied, the bit locks, turning into a straight edge. This prevents the nutcracker effect and allows the bit to work more on the corners of the mouth instead of the palate and tongue. With less pressure on the reins, the bit reverts to a single-jointed bit. This can help the horse learn to release the pressure on its own. This bit is made of high-quality stainless steel.
