For recovery after physical exertion. Contributes to normal tendon function.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, twice daily:
Horse 20 - 30 drops
Dog 10 - 15 drops
Cat 5 - 10 drops
1 ml = 20 drops
Shake well before use.
If administering this product multiple times a day is difficult in practice, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dose. This product is still effective, but the response may take a little longer.
If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor your animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the recommended dose. If there is improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.
With some dilutions and extracts, a brief worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means the animal is reacting to the product. In the event of a significant increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually increase the dosage.
Administration
Administer this product directly into the mouth using a plastic syringe, diluted with a little water if necessary. Preferably not with a meal, as the product is more effective when absorbed through the clean oral mucosa. If an animal doesn't like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of treat.
Duration of treatment
In acute situations, the treatment duration is relatively short. It can range from a few days to three weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after one to three weeks. This product can be administered continuously. It is advisable to include a week's break every six to eight weeks. This allows the stimulus to be offered again after the week's break. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.
