This mouthpiece is a short-barred mouthpiece. It allows for a little tongue freedom and distributes pressure evenly across the bars. The port creates space for the tongue and reduces pressure on the center of the horse's tongue. More tongue freedom is ideal for horses with sensitive tongues or those that stick their tongues out.
The Baby Dressage Bar has shorter shanks than the standard dressage bar, which provides less leverage.
